This Past Season at Waterside

Looking back on this past season, we cannot help but smile. As we scroll through the gallery of sun-drenched afternoons and lively evening gatherings, the memories rush back. We had an absolute blast meeting so many new people from all over.

Central Florida offers some of the most beautiful winter weather in the country. Waking up to a gentle breeze off the lake and drinking your morning coffee under a clear blue sky sets the tone for the day.

But the true magic of our resort goes far beyond the scenic views. It lives in the vibrant community that comes together. Whether you travel full-time or just head south for the winter, you know that the people make the place. This season, our guests brought an incredible energy that turned everyday activities into unforgettable experiences.

Building Community

One of the standout highlights of the season was our signature Camper Crawls. We introduced this event to help guests break the ice, and it quickly became a massive hit.

During a Camper Crawl, guests travel together from one RV site to the next, sharing appetizers, drinks, and plenty of laughs along the way. It offers a wonderful, low-pressure way to get to know your neighbors. You get to see different rig setups and trade travel stories. Because everyone had the absolute best time together during these events, you can definitely expect the Camper Crawls to return next season.

Taco Tuesdays became something people looked forward to! Good food has a way of bringing people together, and our Tuesday gatherings did just that.

Poolside Live Music

Nothing says “vacation” quite like listening to a great local band while lounging by the water. Our poolside live music events provided the perfect soundtrack for sunny afternoons and beautiful sunsets. Guests brought their favorite beverages and lounged in or by the water.

Competitive Pickleball Tournaments

Pickleball remains the most popular sport in the RV community, and our courts saw plenty of action this year. We hosted pickleball tournaments that brought out the competitive spirit in our guests. Whether you stepped onto the court as a seasoned pro or picked up a paddle for the very first time, the tournaments offered a fantastic way to stay active and cheer on your neighbors.

Celebrating Special Moments Together

Beyond the weekly activities, we love to celebrate the big moments. Bringing the community together for special events creates the memories that you will talk about for years to come.

We rang in the new year with a casino theme and murder mystery. Celebrating the start of a new chapter with such a joyful community perfectly encapsulated the spirit of Waterside RV Resort.

Looking Ahead to Next Season

While we love looking back at these wonderful photos and memories, we are already thinking ahead. We plan to build on everything that made this past season successful.

We will expand our current activities to make them even better, and we are brainstorming plenty of fresh, new ideas to keep the calendar exciting.
