From Dawn, Our Activities Director ☀️

“One of the things I love most about Waterside is how much our guests contribute to the fun!

As far as some of my favorite events that we have coming up this season, Camper Crawls are my #1. We have 3 planned for this season and maybe a 4th. I have a theme planned for each one – Christmas, Halloween, and Cinco de Marcho.

Another favorite of mine is Valentine’s Day. We bring in a band and host a catered dinner from a popular local restaurant.

We also have some exciting new additions this season, including Oktoberfest with a Bavarian band, a Murder Mystery night, and the always hilarious ‘Not So Newlywed Game.’ Every event is designed to bring people together, get everyone laughing, and create memories you’ll talk about long after your stay.”

“I am so excited that Dawn has hung up her traveling ‘Work Camper’ hat and joined us full time as our Activities Director.

She comes to us with a vast set of talents and a solid grasp of what our guests—whether they are winter season snowbirds, rally groups, or local Floridians looking to explore new areas of their state—are looking for when they stay at Waterside.
